|Less| decrease line spacing by 1, or by 10 with the Option key. The minumum value is 0.

|More| increase line spacing by 1, or by 10 with the Option key. The maximum value is 100.

|Vary:| The line height is equal to the line height of the largest character in each line, plus a fixed amount- see below.

|Fixed:| The line height for all lines is identical, and is equal to the largest line height of |any| character anywhere in the text, plus  a fixed amount- see below.

|Fixed Text Size|: set a standard text size, in points. Hold the Option key to scale by current magnification level.

|Size…| set any text size from 1 point to 255 points.

|Family Scroll:| scroll the list of fonts forward or backwards.

|Font List:| click to set the font family. 

|Current Choice:| shows default  text values. Click to set selected objects. If the little box in the lower-left corner is filled, its an ATM font.



|Text Palette Title Bar|: Click to bring window front or drag to new position; use command key to prevent coming to front. Text is |local| during text editing; otherwise |global|, and it affects all selected text objects, including |bound| text.
